vitcgpacalculator.dev is an independent website and is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). All trademarks, institution names, acronyms (VIT, FFCS, VTOP), and associated logos remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
2. Educational & Informational Purpose Only
The calculators and resources provided on this website are designed strictly for educational planning, personal estimation, and academic self-assessment. While every mathematical algorithm has been implemented in strict alignment with published university guidelines and Controller of Examinations circulars, calculations produced by this website do not constitute an official university transcript, degree verification, or formal academic credential.
3. Primacy of Official University Records
In all instances, the official academic records maintained by the Office of the Controller of Examinations and displayed on the official student portal (vtop.vit.ac.in) take absolute precedence. Neither this website nor its operators accept liability for any academic decisions, placement filings, scholarship applications, or graduation planning made on the basis of results obtained here.
4. Regulatory Nuances and Special Cases
Standard performance grade calculations (S, A, B, C, D, E, F) reflect baseline regulatory formulas. However, academic edge cases—including course withdrawals, audit course registrations, repeat courses, grade improvement exams, credit exemptions, and honours/minor curricula—may require tailored administrative treatment under specific batch regulations. Students should always cross-reference their grade cards with their official academic advisor.
